I am in contact with several alumni and no one seems to have heard anything except when the old school closed. Please let me know if there are any plans because I have to arrange travel. |

I also teach part-time for two colleges. I have been a widow for nearly 13 years now as my husband died on Christmas Eve of 2001. I have no children, but I do have thousands of children and adults that I have taught on both the university/college and high school levels. |

I didn’t believe him at first until I got on the web site and saw for myself. They knew people would be touring and they couldn’t both to pick up the potato chip bags and trash! Just have to wonder how long the new school is going to look so spiffy and clean….old school was so desolate and dirty and rundown. Doesn’t cost a thing to pick up trash…where was the pep club????? |

| Hi all…..yes those were the years, hard to believe this year 2006 means forty years since graduation. I still live in Las Vegas, NW part of town but still remember the old neighborhood. Lots of good memories being in the band, playing clarinet ( not very good I might add), but lots of fun, marching in Heldorado Parades(sweating in the wool uniforms in 110 heat) and doing half time shows for the football games. The band also played for President Kennedy at the Convention Center just a few months before he was shot and killed. Lots of memories made in those four short years. The twist with Chubby Checkers was popular then. Of course it was played at every after school dance that we had. I was kind of shy and quiet, not sure if anyone will remember me, but you never know. I have attended a few of the reunions in the past. Would love to hear from old classmates !!!! |
