Academic Improvement Committee

The Academic Improvement Committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining tutorial and examination preparation programs to assist Rancho students in their academic endeavors.

Fund-raising Committee

The Fund-raising Committee is responsible for all fund-raising activities of the Alumni Association. This committee may, from time to time, work in conjunction with the efforts of the Public Relations/Marketing Committee.

Public Relations/Marketing Committee

The Public Relations/Marketing Committee is responsible for promoting the efforts, goals and accomplishments of the Association through various forms of media and marketing the ideals of the Association to the public.

Homecoming Activities Committee

The Homecoming Activities Committee is responsible for all Alumni Association participation in Rancho’s yearly Homecoming program.

Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Alumni Scholarship program, determining eligibility requirements, coordinating private scholarships and soliciting scholarship funds from various sources.

Career Opportunity Committee

The Career Opportunity Committee is responsible for establishing meaningful mentorship and job shadowing opportunities for Rancho High students with Alumni and others in the community.

Membership Recruitment Committee

The Membership/Recruitment Committee is responsible for the recruitment of new Alumni Association members and the retention of all current Alumni Association members as well as maintaining, updating and retaining information on all Rancho High Alumni and Alumni Association members. The Committee shall also be responsible for organizing fun and entertaining Alumni events such as outings, picnics and socials.

Budget/Finance Committee

The Budget/Finance Committee is responsible for establishing budgets for the Association and its various committees and proposing them to the Alumni Board for its consideration.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee shall be appointed by the Board prior to each annual meeting and shall consist of a chairperson who shall be a Member of the Board and two (2) or more Active Alumni Members of the Association. The Nominating Committee is responsible for submitting names of potential Board candidates to the membership for election to the Board. The Nominating Committee shall serve from the opening of the Annual Meeting until the close of the Annual Meeting. The Nominating Committee will make as many nominations for election to the Board as it shall, in its discretion determine, but not less than the number of vacancies that are to be filled. The names of Board candidates shall be submitted by the Nominating Committee at least forty-five (45) days before each Annual Meeting
